I married Adele A. Waller of Asheville, N.C. on June 23, 1974. Adele is a lawyer specializing in health information and technology. We lived in Chicago from 1973 to 1980 and from 1985 to 2002. Adele finished law school in 1985 and joined the firm of Gardner, Carton & Douglas where she eventually became a partner. She now practices with the Chicago office of Barnes & Thornburg (an Indianapolis based firm). I accumulated various degrees in theology including a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Among various other things, I worked for about 10 years consulting with Gary Edwards on business ethics. Since 2002 when Adele and I moved to Dayton, I have taught theology and ethics at Kettering College. We are both dotty over our six year old yellow lab.
