The following obit was found in the Southern Union magazine several years ago:


Miss Miriam Foreman

Foreman, Miriam L., 90, born Oct. 14, 1911, in Reading, Pa., died Sept. 25, 2001, in Mooresville, N.C. She worked 35 years as teacher and dean of women at Adelphian Academy in Holly, Mich. She has no known living relatives but is survived by caretakers: Fannie and Don Putnam.
