David Carl Langlois of Bucyrus, Ohio died June 12 after an eight-month illness. He was 75 years of age. He was born July 26, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Henry Joseph and Leta Belle Faler Langlois. In 1952 he attended Adelphian Academy for one year. On Nov. 7, 1954, he married Marie Walterhouse.

He is survived by his wife and three children, daughter Yvonne and husband Carl Snyder of Bucyrus; son Jeff and fiance B.J. Monroe of Bucyrus; and daughter Janet Moore and fiance Mike McClintock of Bucyrus; granddaughter Melissa (Joe) Gee; great-grandchildren Joshua Snyder, Nathan and Russell Gee; grandsons Jeremy Snyder, Jason (Jenny) Snyder, Mandy (Choyote) Mullen; granddaughter Jane Langlois and special friend Matt Peppard; grandson David Langlois and fiance Letisha Conklin; great-grandsons Khoden and Khyden Langlois; brother Henry Langlois of Columbus; and sister Ellen Friedman of Lima.

Mr. Langlois was a U.S. Army veteran. He moved his family to Ohio from Long Beach, California in 1968. He was a diesel mechanic, enjoyed deep sea fishing and spending time with his family. He was a lifelong auto racing fan. Before he became ill last October his favorite pastime was baby-sitting his youngest great-grandson.
