Carolyn Tignor supplied this information: Harold had been living in Alaska for 19 years and then moved to Washington state. He never married. He passed away 11/18/2011 from COPD (chronic obstructive lung disease). I went to school with him at Southfield Junior Academy and then Adelphian and Andrews. He spent a lot of time with Ralph and I at Andrews, played with our toddler son, and it was like he became part of our household. The last time we saw him, he told us he was dropping out of college and going to Alaska.
